Welcomes you to its 2024 Lucia celebration!

Our celebration will be held at Gates Mills Community House,
1460 Chagrin River Road, Gates Mills OH 44040
Food / Reservations;
Please register no later than December 7 by calling Birgitta Herron.
Birgitta will let you know what food items are needed and how much to bring.
One dish per person or two dishes per family, regardless if member or not.
All serving dishes and utensils should be marked with your name, or in some way, so that they can be identified. All food items should be ready to serve. Even if you bring a disposable dish, please see that the contents are properly disposed after the meal.
Fee;
The admission fee for members is $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for children.
Guests pay $15.00 for adults and $5.00 for their children. Children participating in the Lucia train are, as usual, free of charge. Marty will collect the registration fee as you enter. Checks preferred; if cash, use an envelope listing how much and from whom on the outside of the envelope.
Schedule: Lucia Celebration (typical schedule)
3:00 pm Open mixer – Welcome Glögg. Children’s movies in the basement
4:00 pm Start enjoying the delicious Julbord
5:00 pm Lucia procession and program. Pianist: Alan Higbee
5:20 pm Our Lucia choir followed by allsång (unison singing)
6:00 pm ‘Tomten’ a poem by Victor Rydberg narrated by Bo Carlson
6:15 pm Visit by our own Tomten.
6:30 pm Efterrätt (dessert)
