Mr. Wallenberg is the second person to be awarded a Honorary Citizen of the USA (Sir Churchill was the only other before Wallenberg).

Only eight Honorary citizenships of the USA have ever been awarded so far.

Raoul Wallenberg Day is on the 27th of August in Sweden, which is also a national day in Sweden for equal rights and civil courage.
