invites you to our joint Lucia celebration on,

Sunday December 14, 2025 at 3.00PM
Our celebration will be held at Gates Mills Community House,
1460 Chagrin River Road, Gates Mills OH 44040

Reservations are required, i.e. no door sales.

Fee:
The admission fee for members is $15.00 for adults and $5.00 for children.
Non-members pay $20.00 for adults and $5.00 for their children.
Children participating in the Lucia pageant are free of charge. 


Food / Reservations:
Please register no later than December 7 via our website, under
Member Login > Volunteer sign-up (for both attendance and potluck items.)

The event is limited to 100 participants, so register early, as the spots run out quickly. First come, first served. 

As this is a potluck event, you will be bringing something to share. We are expecting about 80 adults and we have about 50 items on our list.
Signup for one item per person or two items per family is requested.

All serving dishes and utensils should be marked with your name or in some way so that they can be identified. All food items should be ready to serve. Even if you bring a disposable dish, please see that the contents are properly disposed of after the meal.

Please consider mailing your check to Linda at least two weeks ahead of the event.


Schedule: Lucia Celebration (typical schedule):

3:00 pm Open mixer – Welcome Glögg. Children’s movies in the basement
4:00 pm Start enjoying the delicious Julbord
5:00 pm Lucia procession and program. Pianist: Alan Higbee
5:20 pm Our Lucia choir & VASA voices followed by allsång (unison singing)
6:00 pm “Tomten” a poem by Victor Rydberg, narrated by our own Bo Carlsson
6:15 pm Visit by our own Tomten (Santa)
6:30 pm Efterrätt (dessert)
